The APC propaganda offensive is still on. The newest party on the block is doing all it can and using every media available to convince Nigerians to dump the PDP and give it a chance.
In this (hilarious?) cartoon – depending on where you stand – the leaders of the APC are seen with a very sickly ‘Nigeria.’ They are presumably in an emergency ward, trying to resuscitate the child with a drip called APC and a large bottle presumably containing drugs, also called APC. Inventive?
And one of them pops the question to Tinubu: “Asiwaju, any pulse?” To which Tinubu replies, “He is suffering from umblella,” a tacit hit at both the PDP, whose logo is the umbrella and the Nigerian first lady, Patience Jonathan, who gave Nigerians the word ‘umblella.’
Major flaw in the cartoon is that apart from Tinubu who has a pensive, slightly worried look on his face, the other actors, including Gen. Buhari and Ibrahim Shekarau, have what looks like smiles on their faces. It’s interesting that anyone can smile when such a sick child lies almost dying in his hands.
Or is that part of the plan? Is this a Bourdillon propaganda? Tinubu, the worried surgeon of the opposition?
Ah, but we’ve gone ahead of ourselves. Just see the cartoon for yourself.
