A former Ogun State Governor, Gbenga Daniel, will play host to a host of journalists expected to attend a two-day political workshop for media practitioners slated for Saturday and Sunday holding at the Obafemi Awolowo Hall, located in the compound of his palatial home in Sagamu in the state.
Both print and electronics journalists are expected at the event tagged, ‘Proper Information Dissemination As a Tool For Political Development.’
The workshop is organised by a political academy of the former governor in collaboration with Gateway Front Foundation. Journalists will be treated to topics such as film story of Nigeria, and discussions on lessons learnt from the democratic experience of Nigeria in a federal system.
The workshop will also feature a group discussion, on the major actors in Nigeria’s development, the motivation for their actions and decisions, the impact of decisions made on unity and development, Lessons learnt, and the potential political developments going towards 2015.
