The Central Bank of Nigeria has extended the deadline for Bank Verification Number (BVN) registration, which is ongoing across the country.
Instead of June 30th,the process will now end on October 31st, which will come as a relief to the last minute brigade.
Customers have been besieging banks in the last few days to get their data captured as deadline approached due to the fear that from July 1,they would be unable to access the accounts.
This photo of the queue in a GTB branch in Abeokuta, Ogun State, epitomises the Nigerian problem where everything is left till last minute before action is taken. See how, crowded the bank is!
