There is really nothing wrong with tens of old men dressing alike – white flowing robes and red caps to match, every hour they are in public, every day, nonstop. Nothing at all. Or is there?
The tradition started in the administration of former Gov. Rabiu Kwankwaso, with his so-called Kwankwasiya movement, but the new sheriff in town, Abdullahi Ganduje, has continued the sartorial tradition.
Looks queer though – whether beautiful queer or ridiculous queer, that’s in the eyes of the beholder.
