The Chief of Defence Staff, General Abayomi Olonisakin, has finally revealed that the military is clueless on the whereabouts of the abducted Chibok girls who have so far, spent 500 days in captivity.
General Olonisakin, who spoke with journalists after addressing officers of the Nigerian Navy at a one-day seminar in Abuja, explained that the interrogation of Boko Haram captives has not yielded any tangible result.
“So far, we don’t have any report concerning them (Chibok girls), but of course, we have some Boko Haram terrorists, who have surrendered. Among them are women and children.
“We have collection point for their wives and children and we are moving them to areas where we can profile and identify them and ensure that they are not really involved in Boko Haram activities.”
