Former governor of Jigawa state, Sule Lamido, is one of a handful of former governors who are facing corruption charges. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is prosecuting Lamido and his two sons, Aminu and Mustapha, over a 17-count charge of embezzlement and money laundering. In fact their case started in earnest last week at an Abuja court.
Last weekend, Lamido and the Kano governor, Abdullahi Ganduje arrived at the Aminu Kano airport in Kano from Abuja at about the same time and they shared jokes. The former governor may be going through a lot, but he’s still got his big laugh. See Photos below:
