EFCC says it doesn’t have time to argue with Dasuki

Following his repeated accusation of witch-hunting, the EFCC has declared that it will not join words with the embattled National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki, over allegations that he is being subjected to media trial which may not get him a fair hearing from the court.

Speaking on Channels Television, the spokesperson for the EFCC, Wilson Uwujaren, explained that since Dasuki was already arraigned before a court, it was unneccesary to respond to his allegations.

Dasuki, in his statement of witness, had said that clearly all funds which the EFCC has made reference to, amounting to $2.1bn, were approvals from the Office of the President to him as National Security Adviser (NSA).
