Popular pyramid scheme, Mavrodi Mondial Movement (MMM), on Tuesday announced that it has frozen the accounts of all its members for a month “to prevent any problems during the New Year season.”
The announcement made to its over two million members means they won’t be able to “Get help” until January.
“As usual, in the New Year season the system is experiencing heavy workload,” the MMM notice read. “Moreover, it has to deal with the constant frenzy provoked by the authorities in the mass media.”
It announced that “all confirmed Mavro wil be frozen for a month” but promised that the freeze will be lifted when everything calms down.”
MMM administration called for understanding from all its members.
The crash of the scheme in some other countries like South Africa, began with a similar freeze, after which panic led to its fall.
