Armed operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Tuesday sealed five houses in Kaduna reportedly belonging to the embattled former chairman of the Presidential Pension Reform Task team, Abdulrasheed Maina.
The properties that were sealed include a two storey shopping plaza located at number 2C Ibrahim Taiwo road, a one storey duplex at Katuru road and another property at Kasi new extension.
An official of the commission, Ibrahim Kamal, told newsmen that more properties belonging to Maina are still being identified and may be sealed.
He said that so far, the commission had identified six properties belonging to Maina including two companies which were sealed.
He said one of the houses is on Ibrahim Taiwo road, another on Katuru off Warrior road while four are located on Kano road by Kano extension.
On Monday, Pres. Buhari ordered the immediate sack of Maina. Recent revelations show that two ministers in the Federal cabinet were actively involved in the recall of the fugitive.
