Vice President Yemi Osinbajo on Friday attended the burial service for Nigeria’s late former vice president Alex Ekwueme in Oko, Anambra state.
Also in attendance was former President Goodluck Jonathan, who said afterwards on Facebook that: “The late Dr. Alex Ekwueme was a truly great Nigerian, and one whose life added immense value to the principles and democracy of our nation. He will always be remembered for his loyalty and service to Nigeria. He will be dearly missed.”
The secretary to the government of the federation, Boss Mustapha, as well as governors of Ebonyi, Enugu and the host governor Willie Obiano of Anambra were also present.
